Colour is an important parameter to ensure the quality of the final product, but also for monitoring and controlling individual process steps in the brewing industry. The colour of some beers is adjusted either with malt, roasted malt beer or by adding caramel. By continuously measuring the colour of beer, the dosage can be accurately controlled and monitored in the blending line.
